Tuesday June 14 Summer Strength & Conditioning begins on Tuesday June 14th. The weight room will be open at 8:00 AM and football players will lift until 9:00. Then on Monday’s and Wednesday’s the team will have offense technique work on the practice fields and on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s we will have defensive technique work. Cost is $40.00
July 11-12: John Marshall Mini-Camp (Grades 9-12) The Football Staff will hold its traditional Min-Camp John Marshall High School July 11 & 12 and will run from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. and will run from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. This camp is an excellent opportunity for all 2009 freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Players will be instructed by the John Marshall football staff and will be given instruction on techniques to practice during Captains Practice. A camp brochure will be mailed to you in July. The cost of the camp is $10. Every player will receive a camp tee shirt.
July 13-16 Winona State Team Camp Winona State Team Camp The Winona State Football Staff will host the eight annual full contact football camp Wednesday July 13 thru Saturday July 16. The JM football staff encourages as many players as possible to participate. Not only will the campers enhance their individual skills, they will also be able to apply their own techniques in a team atmosphere. Monday July 25 Captains Leadership, 9-11 at JM
July 25-29: JM Rocket Youth Camps Join in the fun and attend this Community Education Football Camp. Former John Marshall athletes and present staff will provide excellent instruction in fundamentals of passing, blocking, and kicking. The camp will be at John Marshall High School football fields. Please come prepared with shorts, T-shirt and football shoes. Brochures are available from Community Education (287-2135) and the cost is $42.00 and includes a T-shirt. The camp will be held at John Marshall High School. Grades 4-6 – Mon.-Fri. July 25-29 8:30 to 11:30 AM Grades 7-8 – Mon.-Fri. July 25-29 12:30 to 3:30 PM
